“City of Light” is part of the “Cityscapes” series and is a meeting place between memory and imagination in a space built by man. The profiles of the skyscrapers differ in the intense brightness of the day, open to a vastness full of light, accompanied in the foreground by the green of nature.  

Nadia Presotto, an Italian artist born in 1952, lives and works in Conzano (AL). Passionate about art, she attends drawing courses and the ateliers of numerous artists; she studies the color applied to the various techniques, from watercolor to oil, creating canvases with oil colors and bright watercolors. She attended the engraving course at the Institute of Fine Arts and participated in international workshops.

She has exhibited at institutional locations and private galleries in Italy and abroad.

Numerous holdings abroad: London – England, S. Paul de Vence – France, Luxembourg, Rikuzentakata – Japan; she participated in the International Watercolor Biennials in Tirana (Albania); at the V Kazan Biennial of Graphics and at the International Review of High Graphic 2020 by Naberzhnye Chelny (Russia). Already present in Russia in 2018 at the Kazan State Museum and in Moscow at the Hall of Russian Artists. In 2020, in February, she participated in the important international review of Milan Affordable Art Fair.

She participated in the Art Fairs of Reggio Emilia (2008) and Padua (2010) with publication in the catalog, in the numerous group exhibitions set up in Verbania (Lake Maggiore), at the Museum of Campionissimi in Novi Ligure, at the Ethmographic Museum in Alessandria. Present at the Oratorio Sant ‘Ambrogio and the Bocca bookshop in the gallery of Milan, the former Abbey of San Remigio in Parodi Ligure, at the Piovera Castle, Costigliole Castle and Casale Monferrato Castle, at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Mombercelli (AT), Palazzo Monferrato in Alessandria, Villa Vidua of Conzano, Wood Museum of Pettenasco, Church of San Vittore in Vercelli, Palazzo Riggio in Nicosia, Aglaia gallery in Omegna and Viadeimercati gallery in Vercelli and more.

Present in the Tibet Pavilion, inside the Italian Pavilion, of the 54th Venice Biennale, set up in Turin in 2011 and in other exhibitions of the Tibet Pavilion.

Her works are present in public and private collections and published in many numerous catalogs. Numerous critics have dedicated themselves to her artistic activity.
