Graduate of Tbilisi State Academy of Art (2011 – Restoration, Art History and Theory, 2015 – Visual Arts). She has presented her works at individual and collective exhibitions, including in Israel, Italy, Armenia and Poland.
Mariam Akhobadze portrays people in everyday, routine activities in a grotesque and funny way. As she says – she wants to show the fervor and confusion of everyday life, to make us aware of the value of the passing time. People often squander it in empty conversations and gossip.
