Trofaiach (Austria) 2019
Vernissage, See the Big Picture, Friday 29-11-2019
Exhibition 30.11 – 21.12
The cultural non-profit association Art Mine and the newly founded cultural centre Simon Mühle jointly opened a long empty flour mill in the city of Trofaiach in Austria. The two organisations aim to rejuvenate the building into a cultural and social centre for the district. Art Mine will present a cultural program, including readings, concerts, and exhibitions from local and international artists. The mill was officially opened on the 29th of November 2019 and adjacent to the program attended by local dignitaries from politics, church, and business we presented “See the Big Picture” to a delighted public, we exhibited the paintings for nearly a month and many people attended the exhibition. The Austrian National TV ORF brought a four-minute report on the exhibition, the media too were very supportive of this unique project. Some artists from the district who joined and donated paintings to the project were also in attendance.
