Elisabeth Hambauer, retired elementary school headmistress, lives with her husband Otmar in Admont, Styria. Three daughters have given her four grandchildren. Looking after the two girls and two boys gives her immense joy. She loves travelling with Otmar in their camper van. Her favourite hobbies are skiing, mountain hiking and gardening. But she particularly enjoys painting. Landscapes and people are her favourite subjects.
Watercolour painting used to be her primary technique. However, for some years now she has been painting mainly with acrylic colours on canvas, using spatulas and other tools, such as a palette knife and her fingers. Her work has already been shown in several exhibitions.
