\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tChristina Yang ist eine chinesische Fotografin und Art Director. Sie wohnt in Shanghai und Melbourne. Mit Fotografie kam sie schon in jungen Jahren in Ber\u00fchrung. Yang hat sich auf Mode- und Portraitfotografie spezialisiert und versucht ihre Auffassung von der Sch\u00f6nheit der Mode und der Menschen zu verbildlichen. Au\u00dferdem ist sie ein gro\u00dfer Fan der orientalischen \u00c4sthetik. Inspiriert von den auffallenden Farben, dem Licht und dem Schatten der orientalischen Oper, sind ihre Visionen kr\u00e4ftig und bunt. Momentan \u00fcbt sich Christina weiter in der Fotografie und erkundet sie die orientalische \u00c4sthetik auf eine moderne Art und Weise.\r\n\r\n‚Fear from Homogenisation‘ (dt.: ‚Furcht vor Homogenisierung‘) ist ein Projekt, das die Beziehung zwischen Menschen und der gegenw\u00e4rtigen Landschaft der Sozialen Medien untersucht. Dieses Konzept deckt den Umstand auf, dass die \u00c4sthetik, die Werte und die Denkweise einer gro\u00dfen Gruppe von Menschen im Zeitalter der Sozialen Medien zu einem bedeutenden Teil von Influencer*innen auf diesen Plattformen bestimmt werden. Dadurch denken, reden und kleiden sich mehr und mehr Menschen auf dieselbe Weise. Diese Art der Homogenisierung reduziert die Vielfalt der Pers\u00f6nlichkeiten und die F\u00e4higkeit der Menschen, selbstst\u00e4ndig \u00fcber ihre Umgebung nachzudenken und Gef\u00fchle in Bezug auf sie zu entwickeln. Hinsichtlich dieser sozialen Homogenisierung dr\u00fcckt diese Reihe von Werken meine Bef\u00fcrchtung aus, unbewusst assimiliert zu werden.\u00a0 Ich verwende die Fotografie als Medium meiner Wahl und nutze sie, um meinem Gef\u00fchl der Angst und Unsicherheit Ausdruck zu verleihen. Ich bearbeite die Bilder nach, indem ich verschiedene Ausschnitte herumbewege und so ein chaotisches Bild kreiere.
