\u201cDer Lotus ist Indiens Nationalpflanze. Er symbolisiert den Aufstieg der Nation aus Chaos hin zu Frieden und Gr\u00f6\u00dfe. Der Lotus bricht sich seinen Weg aus schlammigem Wasser, um sich zu befreien und zu bl\u00fchen und steht auf diese Weise f\u00fcr Geburt, Wachstum, Sch\u00f6nheit und Freiheit. Egal, wo das Leben seinen Lauf nimmt, es sind Entschlossenheit und Mut, die uns helfen, voranzukommen, zu wachsen und G\u00fcte zu verbreiten.\u201c<\/em><\/p>\n

Sujata beendete ihre formale Kunstausbildung an der renommierten Sir J.J. School of Art in Mumbai. Ihre erste Einzelausstellung fand 1992 im India International Centre in Neu-Delhi statt. Darauf folgten zahlreiche andere Einzel- und Gruppenausstellungen in Indien und im Ausland. Unentwegt darum bem\u00fcht, das Repertoire ihrer k\u00fcnstlerischen Bandbreite zu vergr\u00f6\u00dfern, hat sie die Suche nach einer tieferen Bedeutung des Lebens dazu angetrieben, in die Mysterien des Geistes, der Natur und des Universums einzutauchen. Diese Nachforschungen haben sich in eine zutiefst meditative Serie heiterer Lotusteiche und anmutiger Formen des Pferdes als poetische Wesen verwandelt, die die Verk\u00f6rperung allen Instinktiven und Intuitiven sind.<\/p>\n

Ihr Interesse an verschiedenen Heilmethoden und das Bed\u00fcrfnis, mit Menschen in Kontakt zu treten und ihr Leben auf eine positive Art und Weise zu ber\u00fchren, motiviert sie dazu, mit Kindern mit Behinderung sowie auf dem Gebiet der psychischen Gesundheit zu arbeiten und dabei Kunst als Therapie einzusetzen.<\/p>\n

Sujata\u2019s Arbeiten, die in vielen bedeutenden Ausstellungen gezeigt wurden, wurden sowohl innerhalb der Fachwelt als auch dar\u00fcber hinaus mit Lob bedacht. Ihre Bilder sind wesentlicher Bestandteil privater Sammlungen in ganz Indien, im Mittleren Osten, in Europa und den USA.<\/p>\n

2004-05 verbrachte sie als Mitglied an der Art League School in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. Sie h\u00f6rt nicht auf zu reisen und befindet sich mit einer Vielzahl von Kunstschaffenden aus aller Welt im Austausch. \u00a0Zurzeit lebt und arbeitet sie in ihrem Studio in Neu-Delhi.<\/p>\n
